Vacha: The Recording Management App

Vacha is a powerful recording management tool that helps you:

  1. Record and save your voice clips along with essential metadata such as speaker name, location, and recording device.
  2. Securely store your recordings on the cloud and access them even if your device is lost.
  3. Check the ambient noise level of your environment before recording.
  4. Participate in voice-over and voice recording projects hosted on Vacha.
  5. Earn by contributing your voice to various projects of your choice.

It also allows project managers of various industries to create voice collection projects and assign tasks to contributors. Managers can review, manage, and use the recorded audio as needed.

Anyone can create an account on the Vacha app, participate as a contributor, or create projects and invite others to record.

Getting Started with Vacha App

  1. Download the app:
  2. Log in with your Google/Gmail account or register using an email and password.
  3. As a Guest, you can:
    • Record audio
    • Share it with others
    • Upload to the cloud
  4. If invited, ask the project manager to whitelist your email and assign the task.
  5. Admin Action: Admin must enable the account to "Allow user to receive tasks."
  6. Once verified, log out and log back in to view your tasks.
  7. To return to personal recordings:
    • Tap the three-dot menu
    • Select "My Recordings" to switch from task view

Recording Guidelines

  1. Wait one second after pressing record before speaking.
  2. Pause one second after finishing before stopping the recording.
  3. Review every recording. Retake if:
    • Background noise is present
    • The tone is off
    • The audio is unclear or flawed
  4. Tap the ✓ Tick button to upload your file. Once uploaded, use the play button to review.
